Events Coordinator at Brown’s Revolution Hall
LOCATION: Brown’s Revolution Hall, Troy, NY
As our private event and wedding side of Brown’s grows, we are continuously searching for passionate and hardworking individuals to join our team and be a part of our success. For years Brown’s Revolution Hall has held an outstanding reputation for excellent customer service and hospitality that has rewarded us with fruitful business and customer relationships that last a lifetime. In hope to grow and cultivate not only a larger and more successful private event production, we are also aspiring to achieve mutually beneficial relationships that help our employees attain high satisfaction in their work.
Responsibilities:
The coordination of a portfolio of events from contract stage to event completion
Preparing all relevant event documentation including floor plans, timelines, menu tasting and banqueting event orders
Conducting site visits/tours for potential clients in a professional and helpful manner
Maintaining effective communication with clients to create accurate and complete banqueting event orders and ensuring the banqueting team delivers the event per the client’s request
Preparing weekly event sheets on time for the Head Chef and kitchen staff with completed menus and relevant information
Coordinating activities on the day and during the event to ensure the smooth running of the event
Managing the entire banquet staff during an event in a supportive and decisive manner
Credentials:
Exceptional Organizational skills
Professional and efficient communication skills
The ability to work decisively and calmly under high pressure situations
Knowledge and/or experience using Google Drive, Google Docs and Google Spreadsheets
Base Level experience and/or knowledge of using Excel Spreadsheets
Weekend availability and nighttime availability
Strong leadership and management skills in a customer service environment
Passion and enthusiasm for private events and wedding planning
Strong attention to detail and mindfulness of visual aesthetics
High grooming standards
Ability to lift and move heavy objects carefully throughout the venue

Line Cook
LOCATION: Brown’s Walloomsac Taproom, North Hoosick, NY
Brown's Brewing Company is seeking kitchen Line Cooks for our busy Walloomsac Taproom. This person must be very organized, calm and cool under pressure, able to stand for long periods of time, full availability Wednesday through Sunday, and lift 40 pounds or more. If you have a strong culinary skill set with an ability to thrive in a craft beer centric environment and be a team player exhibiting exceptional interpersonal skills, we can't wait to meet you. Full and part time postions available.
