2010 Harvest I.P.A. will officially be on draught Wednesday, September 1st in the Taproom! This much coveted rare release features 100% locally grown Cascade, Chinook, Nuggett and Willamette hops from Brown's hop farm in Hoosick Falls and Groveside Natural Farms in Pittstown.
Robust and amber in color with a creamy head, Brown's Harvest I.P.A. is noted for its intense floral aroma and strong hop character that results from wet hop brewing. Wet hop brewing is necessary as the fresh hops picked no less than a day before the brew would spoil if not used immediately, unlike the the dried hops that brewers use each day. Brown's Harvest I.P.A. is brewed with Pale, 2 Row Brewer's and Caramel malts and is 6.5% alcohol by volume.

West Hoosick Hop Harvest
We celebrated the first annual Hoosick Hop Harvest at the Brown Family Farm on Sunday, August 29th.
Thanks to friends, neighbors and family for all your help in the pickin' of over 50lbs of fresh hops on a hot, hot, summer day.
